Vascutouch treats common minor skin conditions on the surface of the skin. It treats these superficial irregularities rapidly. A topical anesthesia may be used for some skin conditions.
Conditions treated:
Facial Spider Veins and small Telangiectasia’s:
Blood Spots (Cherry Angiomas) commonly found on the cheeks, nose, and chin. They are tiny red or purple “dots” and can be either flat or raised.
Milias:
Small white pearl looking balls that are just under the surface of the skin. These are actually small micro cyst’s that are filled with oil. If they have been in the skin a long time, they harden and will need to be removed with the VascuTouch.
Clogged Pores:
Treating an “undergrounder” early will bring it to the surface quickly or will dissolve it in the skin so it never comes to the surface. This is effective for treating those hormonal blemishes that seem to come around each month. Usually the blemish does not return again after treatment.
Cystic Acne
Skin Tags and Flat Warts
Seborrheic keratosis:
Elevated waxy looking spots.
How does the Vascutouch work?
A combination of Direct Current and Radio Frequency ablation is used to coagulate or “melt off’ the skin imperfection.
How many treatments will I need?
Usually one to two treatments are all that should be needed.
What can I expect after the treatment?
Slight redness and darkening of the vascular blemishes can be expected for approximately 1 week. Gentle care is required in the area treated for several days following the treatment. Avoid excessive exercise. Topical skin irregularities can form a light crust or scab for several days up to a week after treatment. Skin tags will turn black and “Fall off’ within a week.
